Bikram Hot Yoga Central Fremont Instructors
All instructors at Bikram Hot Yoga Central Fremont have been certified by Bikram Choudhury after graduating from his intensive Teacher Training Programs. All instructors at Bikram Hot Yoga Central Fremont are required to Re-Certify every 3 years, and to maintain the integrity of Bikram’s Hatha Yoga system and teaching methods. We encourage our teachers to continue their study, practice, and development as teachers by returning to the Source, attending Bikram’s seminars, classes, re-visiting the Teacher Trainings, and most importantly — maintaining their own Yoga practice.
Oh yes, my first class was everything but relaxing like any other yoga is supposed to make you feel. But it was great, beyond great. After the first class I knew for sure I am coming back tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. It’s safe to say I was hooked. I was hooked with the heat and the intenseness, that was what kept me going back. As time went on, I started to feel and appreciate this practice more than I ever did. More and more it become my meditation, something that teaches me to love, to be patient and to be happy from inside out.
I never knew I would teach yoga or anything. But I went to Teacher Training Fall 2014. It was one of the best decisions I made in my life. And I was ever so excited to start my second life with teaching Bikram yoga. Until this day I am grateful for every opportunity on the podium. Yes, my wonderful students, I do see you suffer on the podium and I see you working hard. Unfortunately I can’t turn off the heat but I can promise you a better life and health through this yoga practice. So trust the process and simply breathe!”
This yoga has healed my body from trauma and over-abuse due to sports, car accidents, and multiple surgeries. It has made me physically stronger, more agile, and created balance in my body inside and out. On another level it has allowed me to be a more patient, calm, focused, and understanding person. Going deeper- it has allowed me to identify and have more clarity in who I am as a person and to allow myself to be more of that person- it is a matter of learning how to be true to self. There is more that is going on besides the 26 postures in a heated room. Through the practice of Bikram Yoga, lives are transformed- physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. What I love about being an instructor is that I get to partake and be witness to the transformations taking place in others.
The key to this yoga is to do it regularly; there is a process that the body undergoes to receive the benefits. If you are new to Bikram Yoga- my encouragement for you is to “stick with it”, do as many classes as you can each week… You’ll feel incredible for doing so.“The darkest place in the world is underneath the lamp” -Bikram Choudhury
“I made myself take class this morning because I knew if I did, I would have a better day.” Well, I would like to offer classes to everyone so that we would all have a better day.
I earned more money, yes. However, I had no time to keep consistent exercises, cook/choose a healthier diet or develop any relationship. So the answer is simple: Bikram Hot Yoga has gradually helped me to develop a healthier body, happier mind and more positive/conscious mentality.
I truly believe that this type of yoga can help more people to transform themselves onto a path of a healthier, happier life through their own journey of self-realization. I am very grateful that I have witnessed positive changes that happened to my students in different parts of the world! I hope to share these motivational stories with you inside and outside the classroom soon.
Stay Hot, Stay Healthy, Stay Positive!
I enjoyed the flow style and also began taking Iyengar classes. I took my first Bikram class in 2007, crawled out of the torture chamber, and never looked back. I completed teacher training in San Diego Fall 2010.
The Bikram sequence practiced in the heat is powerful and life affirming. Every class is a challenge, every class is unique, and every class can connect your body, mind, and spirit. I will become 68 in August, and could not receive a better gift than being a Bikram teacher.
I live in Carmel with one husband, one dog and two goats. I practice Vipassana meditation which is a compliment to my Bikram practice. I enjoy ocean swimming and boogie boarding and hiking in the mountains of Big Sur.
Hope to see you soon in class and Namaste
I tried every other treatment I could find to no avail, and eventually I attended my first Bikram yoga class at the recommendation of a friend. During the first breathing exercise I knew I needed this yoga in my life. My arms started to heal after just a few months of daily practice, and over time I also treated bad knees, asthma, a sleeping disorder, and several pinched nerves.
I spent a few years in Redmond, Washington working at a big corporation that slowly took away my sanity, but my daily Bikram yoga practice pulled me through that difficult time in my life. After a round of layoffs changed the course of my life, I completed Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Fall 2013 and moved back to the Redwood Mountains in California to be close to my family.
When I am not teaching Bikram yoga, I work as a freelance artist and independent game designer, pursuing my lifelong goal of developing games as an art form.
